The Sweater Workshop by Jacqueline Fee

October 21, 2010

I just started knitting as a hobby a few weeks ago, and am still trying to get the hang of it. It’s a lot harder than it looks — at least for me — so who knows when I’ll actually be able to make anything useful. I was thinking about buying a few pattern books to give me inspiration. I saw this one called The Sweater Workshop by Jacqueline Fee, and can safely rule it out for the time being. I’m definitely not ready to start in in anything so intricate yet! In the meantime, I guess I’ll just have to keep getting my sweaters the old fashioned way: from the store!

Anyway, I’m excited about learning to knit. It’s been a long time since I’ve taken up a new hobby, and I think this one will be very relaxing. I can sit in my rocking chair while I knit and listen to audiobooks. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a couple of hours!
